Kyle Wood has been heavily involved in Motorsport since commencing competition only 4 and a half years ago; age 15. During that time, Kyle has managed to successfully combine academic study (Kyle is studying Pharmaceutical Science) with a rapid and successful rise through Karting classes (National, Resa and CIK Intercontinental C classes) as well as a state-based (and limited national-based) Formula Ford campaign to reach his immediate goal: To complete successful initial tests with Carlin Motorsport with the intention of competing in the 2007 UK Formula BMW championship series.

With obvious success at the Formula Ford level, It has been decided that racing overseas would be far more beneficial in Kyle's development as a race driver and in the pursuit of a professional motorsport career. As such, Kyle's F/Ford team bosses/mentors/managers Greg Fraser and Sonja Vangaale have secured a test drive with one of Europe 's most successful Teams was established (Carlin Motorsport), which will be conducted in early December. Kyle is extremely ambituous about this great opportunity and is sure to give 110 percent effort and dedication into delivering his best possible performance on and off the track.
